Assembly Worker

Powers Equipment Company is looking for energetic and flexible talent for several open positions at our manufacturing facility in Warminster, PA. We are seeking individuals that can follow instruction and then work independently without supervision. We look for associates who put good attendance and respect their fellow employees as priorities, along with building a quality product.

We are looking for skilled Assemblers to perform a variety of assembly tasks. Our assembly technicians receive job satisfaction from producing a finished product by hand which is then used right here in the USA as well as competitive wages and benefits. The products you worked on can be seen in schools, institutions, local shops and stores. No direct experience with our products is needed but some technical knowledge and manual dexterity are preferred. Ability to take both written and verbal instructions are important.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
• Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
• Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications
• Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
• Self-checks work to ensure highest quality
• Maintain equipment in good condition
• Report on issues, malfunctions or defective parts

Skills

• Manual dexterity, uses hand drills, hand tools, air drivers, clamps, etc.
• Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings very helpful but not a requirement
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical condition
• High school diploma: Certificate from a technical school / adult courses in technical fields is a plus but not a requirement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
