Infosys is seeking an Asset Management Business Analyst. As a Functional Consultant, you will be a key player in the domain consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create requirement specifications based on business needs. You will be involved in functional analysis of applications and support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Irvine, CA/Los Angeles, CA location or be willing to relocate to the area.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Experience working in Asset & Wealth management including any of the following areas:
  Client Onboarding, Financial Planning, Portfolio Management, Performance Measurement, Books & Records, Order Management & Settlements, account oversight

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in working with business and technology to effect new processes and to play an active role helping influence solution design through outcome definition
• Experience in analyzing requirements, documenting requirements, and communicating them to developers, testers and upstream/downstream applications
• Familiar with SQL (develop/run queries), data analysis, expertise with Excel
• Experience in understanding Data Models
• Analytical and Communication skills
• Planning and Co-ordination skills
• At least 5 years of experience in Development/ Configuration/solutions evaluation/ Validation and deployment
• Experience with project management
• Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
  

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
