REPORTS TO:Activities Director/Head Coach

JOB GOAL: To instruct participants in the fundamental skill, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time, the student-athlete shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation and internalization of moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline, self-confidence, and sportsmanship. Implements "quality" principles and tools to improve effectiveness of program.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:Contract as determined by sport and season dates. Compensation to be negotiated between the Urbandale Education Association and the Board of Education.

EVALUATION:Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board of Education.
