Summary of Position:

Premier has an opportunity for an Assistant Product Manager to join our Marketing team. The role of the Assistant Product Manager is to materialize quality designed, high-performance products for our clients. It requires the technical skills and customer insights to understand how to create exceptional products to best serve the end user’s needs. The Assistant Product Manager supervises a portfolio of store brand products for their evolutionary life cycle: facilitating sell-in, rolling out new products across various customers, responding to customer requests, managing product testing and reporting, among other duties. We are looking for a dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for winning who desires to make a direct impact on an organization without multiple layers of bureaucracy. This hybrid position is based in White Plains, N.Y. (remote Mondays & Fridays) and reports directly to our Director of Marketing, Private Label & Category Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Product Management:

· Manage a portfolio of private label (store brand) products through their evolutionary life cycle

· Roll out new products across various customers: Develop and negotiate copy, work with the Creative team and customer to approve copy and graphics, and ensure the Master product creative is optimized and leveraged across all customers

·Respond to customer’s requests, including managing product refreshes and ongoing product testing

· Identify and lead development of product improvements, cost savings, and sustainability initiatives (ex. reformulation or new packaging; new features, claims, or graphics) from concept to execution to restage and phase-in

· Write creative briefs and provide feedback to outside vendors and Engineering on product and process improvements

· Analyze performance of new products and product improvements, making recommendations for the future

· Identify areas of growth, recommending new categories, new products, and/or product improvements

· Identify SKUs for potential discontinuation based on product performance, profitability, complexity, etc.

· Work cross-functionally with Creative, Sales, Regulatory, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing

• Present status updates to senior management on a quarterly basis, with smaller monthly updates

E-Commerce

· Work with Amazon agency to expand and manage portfolio of Premier Solutions brand products on Amazon Seller Central

· Add/ update products and manage advertising on Amazon sales platform

· Make recommendations to expand E-commerce business (Amazon and potentially other e-tailers)

Category Management

· Conduct analysis of category, branded and private label performance (shipments and IRI data) and present to senior management in quarterly update meetings

· Provide analysis of category, branded and private label data and trends for customer sales presentations (as needed)

· Share update and maintenance of online product catalog

Performs other related duties as assigned; flexible on time as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
