RESPONSIBILITIES
: Provides didactic and clinical instruction within the radiologic science program. Clinical instruction will involve traveling to off-campus clinical education settings in Kentucky, West Virginia, and Indiana. Additional instructional responsibility includes laboratory learning experiences. The position will require recruitment and advisement of students, serving department, college, and university committees/activities, participation with curriculum evaluation and development. Participation in research and scholarly productivity and assisting with continued accreditation responsibilities and requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
: Master of Science degree in Radiologic or Imaging Sciences or a related clinical/science field, certification in radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), a current state license (if applicable) and documentation of two years’ clinical experience in the professional discipline of radiography or an advanced imaging science area. Must possess a Kentucky state license and eligible to practice in the state of Kentucky by the position start date.
PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS
: Advanced imaging certification(s). Experience preferred in didactic and clinical instruction, experience with online instruction, involvement with programmatic accreditation, and research in imaging sciences.
