Store Assistant Manager - AGRI Sector

Our busy client requires a an Assistant store Manager for its busy Longford based Store.

You will:

• Have an Agricultural qualification or Similar
• Have a strong working knowledge of different farming systems / Sectors
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Have worked in a Retail Environment at Supervisory/Assistant manager level.
• Be Customer Focussed.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills.
• Have the ability to bring other members of the team with you and lead by example.

Duties and Responsibilities are as follows:

• Managing Sales across all sectors
• Logistics management across the business. This will include direct to farm deliveries, Purchase orders, Optimising stock levels, stock forecasting.
• Dealing with customers and managing customer enquiries.
• Provide technical advice and support on all farm inputs across Dairy, Beef, Sheep and other enterprises.
• Stock control and Merchandising.
• Achieve sales targets set out by the store manager.
• Credit Control.
• Implement all Training and Health & Safety controls in co-operation with the Store Manager.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: €30,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
