Summary of role:
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading our team in our busy store in Dunnes Stores, Galway West Business Park, Knocknacarra, Co. Galway. This position will cover 40 hours per week, with shifts across Monday to Sunday. Candidates must be flexible to cover all opening hours of 8 am to 10 pm.
This is a great opportunity, as we will be offering the successful applicant a variety of training during the first three months to support your integration into Nourish.
This includes full access to our Nourish Acadamy Training and Development program including our bespoke in-house leadership modules that have been designed and developed to support our growing leaders within the business.

- Assist the store manager with the performance and running of the store
- Supervise the work of other staff members, their performance, and overall work issues
- Assist the store manager with training, scheduling, and managing performance of the team as required
- Nurture a culture of continuous improvement amongst the team
- Ensure high store standards of cleanliness, merchandising, and compliance with health & safety
- Effectively merchandise and display products and offers
- Assist customers find the right solution for their needs
- Ensure stock levels are well maintained
- Handle customer complaints
- Has previous leadership experience is an advantage.
- Has a minimum of 1-year previous retail experience an advantage.
- Has a previous health food store experience an advantage.
- Has a relative qualification beneficial (i.e. nutrition, naturopathy, etc).
