POSITION SUMMARY:

In this highly critical role, the Associate, Business Development Representative is key to the success of our Studer Education sales team by generating new business opportunities via outbound strategic selling activities. You will be responsible for creating strategies for advancing new business development opportunities within your assigned market. You will collaborate with Sales Directors by prospecting, cultivating, and contributing to lead generation to increase the sales funnel through strategic inside sales initiatives.

Qualifications
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive strategy for advancing Prospecting stage opportunities
  • Prospect, cultivate and contribute to lead generation with a primary focus on high-quality, custom outreach vs. high-volume, generic outreach
  • Develop territory prospecting and account plans
  • Partner with Sales Directors and VPs to execute a strategic approach to pipeline growth to advancement of opportunities throughout the sales funnel
  • Partner with Marketing, Advisory Services, Coaches and Huron Consultants to create and nurture new business opportunities
  • Manage activities related to sales strategy among territory team members
  • Establish knowledge of territory book of business to create sales strategy
  • Serve as extension of Sales Directors within territory and team verticals
  • Develop lead research and approach strategies ( package and triage all leads for accelerated conversion)
  • Accelerate decision-maker access to drive new business growth
  • Travel, as necessary for prospecting and pipeline acceleration; examples may include but are not limited to Huron Conferences, Industry Conferences and Non-Partner Speaking events
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Current permanent U.S. Work authorization required
  • Undergraduate Degree (e.g. BA, BS) in Communications, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • At least 3 years’ experience in business development, sales or a combination of same number of years in healthcare industry
  • Strong critical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to build relationships quickly
  • Strong phone skills with the ability to clearly articulate Studer Group’s solution offerings
Strong writing skills with the ability to create professional and effective correspondence and presentations.
The estimated base salary range for this job is $55,000 - $75,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
