Peabody TV seeks a fun, creative, detail-oriented videographer and editor with a positive “can-do” attitude to join our team as Associate Director of Creative Services. The successful candidate will support both outside client projects and Peabody TV marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead on client project shoots as outlined in the proposal, including setting up cameras, lighting, and audio for both in-studio and on-location.
  • Work with Creative Director on pre-production of projects to create a mutually beneficial relationship with clients and community, including but not limited to: research, meeting with clients, writing proposals, staffing, creating assets, and location scouting.
  • Prep and organize project media and assets for the Creative Director as needed.
  • Support all Peabody TV marketing initiatives by creating in-house content to advance the public’s awareness of our mission.
  • Assist fellow teammates on other productions or training sessions as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities will be assigned based on business needs.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:

  • Media production experience with extensive knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro. Experience with Adobe After Effects a plus.
  • Experience flying a drone and/or willing to get Part 107 Certified, a plus.
  • Ability to make clients feel comfortable while also being assertive and giving direction as needed.
  • Understands the importance of compelling storytelling and excellent customer service.
  • Quick-thinker with the ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues.
  • Ability to notice and take action on the smallest of details, such as a distracting object in the background of a shot, and offer creative feedback as needed.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong commitment to the mission of Public, Educational, and Governmental Access Channels; prior experience in Public, Educational, and Governmental Access Channels is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or three years experience in related fields.
