Hiring Associate Mixed or Small Animal Veterinarian
Approximately 40% large animal and 60% small animal

Large animal

● Mostly routine beef work: pregnancy checking, breeding soundness exams, sick animal recommendations

● Assist at Springville Feeder Auctions, Purdue satellite farms, and Indiana Bull Evaluation Program

● Few sheep, goat, and pig clients: breeding soundness exams, health recommendations

● Equine is minimal and optional for position or can continue to expand based on preference

● Opportunity to expand large animal for position to become more heavily portioned large animal with embryo transfer, laparoscopic AI, etc.

● On call emergencies limited to mostly during calving season with dystocias or prolapses

● Haul out and portable chute if needed

Small animal

● Dog and cat only

● Spays, neuters, dental cleanings

● Vaccine and sick animal care

● Refer most after hour emergencies

● Small animal clinic with surgery room, dental wet table, digital x-ray, ultrasound, pharmacy

● 1 receptionist and 3 veterinary technicians
