Volt has partnered with a top manufacturer in San Diego to help identify an experienced Automated Inspection Operator for 2nd Shift & 3rd shift.
As a Automated Inspection Operator you will:

We are hiring for 2nd shift (1:30pm – 10pm) and 3rd shift (9:30pm – 6am). However, you must be able to train on 1st shift for a few weeks.
Pay is $22-25/hr. Position is temp for 15 months with the opportunity of going perm at any time. The work environment offers stability, career growth and a positive team oriented environment.

As a Automated Inspection Operator you will:
- Works with team members to manage queue and plan work based on established priority
- Stages and prepares hardware for non-destructive inspection
- Verify proper program selection for automated inspection machine, and learn to edit/debug programs when necessary
- Load and unload parts into inspection machine with care, to maintain part condition
- Run automated inspection for individual parts and use local computer software to verify validity of resulting scan data.
- Upload inspection data into shared network location
- Work with team to optimize process flow and working efficiency
- Interface with team members to ensure effective work planning and data transfer handoff
- Monitors and maintains the operation of automated inspection equipment, including calibrations and identifying when preventative maintenance is needed
- Works safely at all times and complies with Environmental Health and Safety standards and work practices along with all other work rules
Requirements:
- PC skills, including Microsoft Office software
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, manufacturer’s drawings and component specifications
- 1 year of experience supporting or operating Automated Inspection Equipment
