Full Time Automotive Service Advisor

The Service Advisor is responsible for service sales and gross profit, and for proper handling of service customers. The Service Advisor influences the volume of service business and plays an integral role in the customer experience, responsible for greeting customers, determining vehicle repairs and relevant costs, selling and scheduling services to be performed. The Service Advisor is the dealership's first-line customer relations and service sales representative.
Responsibilities:
- Communication, customer service and sales.
- Greet each customer in a prompt, courteous manner. Acknowledge customers who are waiting in line and let them know that they will be helped soon.
- Works with customer and technician to identify required maintenance.
- Offers additional services and repairs to customers.
- Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to condition specified by customer.
- Estimates cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs.
- Enters itemized estimate on service order and explains estimate to customer. Secure agreement from customers before repairs begin; cover cost estimate; and approximate time when vehicle's work will be completed.
- Schedules appointments with customer.
- Meets dealership’s standards for repair and order production.
- Maintains CSI at or above Company standards.
- Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
- Complies with Company policies and procedures.
- Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
- Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's specifications, using maintenance menus.
- Ensure that all Repair Orders are accounted for.
- Other duties as assigned.

Pre-Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
- Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity
- Maintain a high level of professional personal appearance and conduct
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Satisfactory work experience in automotive setting
Environment/Physical Demands:
- May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and other service and repair conditions. Responsibilities may include inspection of customer vehicles, frequent movement around the Service Department to convey information between customers and service technicians. Frequently interacts with customers and employees from various departments in the dealership.
Compensation range:
$60,000 - $75,000 depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
