Sprezzatura seeks a seasoned Cloud Migration practitioner to join our expanding team. The cloud practitioner helps customers understand their cloud architecture requirements and how AWS can help them realize their business goals. A highly skilled individual who uses AWS to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their organizations cloud-based initiatives. They work with their team to select the most appropriate AWS services for their needs, and then work with teams within the organization to migrate and implement those services.

Skills, Knowledges and Proficiencies

• Excellent understanding of cloud computing concepts.
• Deep experience in using AWS services.
• Experience migrating into AWS in the federal workspace.
• Experience with federal security requirements for cloud implementations.
• Ability to think logically and solve problems.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Experience with API based systems, RESTful services (future state), containerized architectures, and security awareness/background.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on AWS cloud technologies and help customers make the most of AWS services.
• Hands on role within the technical team.
• Manage, monitor, and forecast the cloud services and usage in AWS cloud, provide recommendations to improve cloud services and usage, and liaise with the AWS customers and partners.
• Ensure migration meets all required federal security protocols.
• Responsible for understanding the AWS cloud, communicating its capabilities to customers, and helping them to get the most out of the AWS cloud.
• Have a deep knowledge of the AWS platform and how to use it to solve customer problems.
• Trained in working with various AWS tools, including the AWS Management Console, the AWS Command Line Interface, and the AWS CloudFormation Toolkit.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Demonstrated, expert experience with AWS, certification preferred.
• Security+ and CISSP certification preferred.
• Must have federal government experience with cloud migration.
• Must be able to identify, diagnose, and solve issues with AWS cloud.
• Be familiar with the various AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, ELB and IAM.
• Experience working with the Amazon Web Services Management Console and the AWS Command Line Interface.
• Require a detailed understanding of how the cloud works and how to manage and use the technology.
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related technical field required.
• 10 years of technical project experience required.
