Job description
Infosys is seeking a Senior Devops professional with AWS Devops experience. This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; builds applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. Experience on administrating and operating infrastructure on an AWS public or private cloud (Cloud networking, monitoring, and cost optimizations). Background of cloud computing and AWS migration workloads. Experienced in using Bicep for resource provisioning to AWS Cloud. Experience in Terraform. Experience creating CI/CD Pipelines and containerization using AWS DevOps. Experience automating applications, infrastructure deployments, and application code repositories using AWS DevOps Pipelines and Repositories.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ. This position may require travel to project locations.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
- At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Experience in Devops implementation on Cloud AWS.
- A strong track record of successfully architecting and deploying AWS solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years in AWS Cloud, OpenStack. Expertise in building infra for enterprise applications using AWS Devops tools.
- Hands on Experience with important DevOps tools and technologies including containers, deployment automation, monitoring and analytics, testing tools, network protocols, continuous integration servers, infrastructure orchestration, source code management and continuous integration
- 5+ years in Infrastructure development tools: Terraform, CloudFormation.
- Strong experience in CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bamboo, AWS Pipelines, Gitlab Pipelines, Ansible.
- Experience working in SonarQube, Artifactory
- Monitor- Datadog, New Relic, Site 24X7
- Experience working in – Github, Jira, Confluence.
- 3 years of experience with Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, Openshift.
- Exposure in defining solution architecture, design detailing and technology delivery with a particular focus on AWS platform services, such as: compute, containers, integration, DevOps
- At least 5 years of experience in solution architecture, design detailing and technology delivery with a particular focus on AWS platform services
- At least 10 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
- Strong communication and Analytical skills
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- AWS Devops, Solution Architect certified and should have role relevant certifications.
- Knowledge of development and deployment best practices
- Automation at scale
- Programming skills with a language such as Python, Java or Shell
- Linux fundamentals and scripting
- Soft skills such as customer service, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, organization, work ethic, timeliness and interpersonal skills
