The Seagate Country Club is an 18-hole private resort country club with 325 members and is located in beautiful Delray Beach, Florida. This position would run from April 10 through November 1st.

Position Summary

Responsible for the Club drop-off area, bag room and practice tee to assist members and guests as they transition from arrival at the Club to starting their golf round.

Job Responsibilities

• Schedules and supervises Bag Room Attendants.
• Address members by their last name.
• Greet every member and welcome every guest.
• Present a neat, clean appearance.
• Responsible for wearing appropriate uniform at all times during shift.
• Perform in accordance with daily procedures (see Specific Duties).
• Responsible for driving range setup, rope placement and practice balls.
• Pick up range balls and clean at all times.
• Keep in contact with the counter and assistant professionals so that starting time information is always current.
• Keep clubs and bags clean after daily use. All clubs MUST be cleaned before the start of the next day.
• Keep outside area uncongested, neat and clean.
• All bags will have club bag tags with name.
• Assist in tournament operations by organizing carts at the staging area.
• Work in accordance with the cart maintenance manager for delivery of carts.
• Report to pro shop when supplies run low.
• Be sure that no member or guest loads or unloads their own golf bag.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be polite.

Opening 7:00 a.m.

• Set Up Range
• Set up ropes. Start from front tee and move back daily or as directed by Grounds Superintendent.
• Set up ball pyramids based on number of players
• 2 baskets by chipping green.
• Fill ice and water cooler on back tee every day.
• Update range yardage signs each day.
• Carts will be delivered by outside assistant every morning - each cart must be prepped with tees, pencil, scorecard and rake. (Make sure carts are clean).
• Return all keys to golf shop. Keys for club carts given out at golf shop only.

Shotgun Starts:

• 
  Pull bags for shotgun, in accordance with tee sheet. Prepare water, 1 cup for each player.
• Prepare wet and dry towels for each player.

Hourly Checks:

• 
  Check range baskets, chipping green every hour. Fill baskets as needed.
• Keep range clean, baskets full on front and back tee, chipping green clear.
• Check ice and water in cooler.
• Sweep bag room and outside area, as needed.

Closing:

• Pick range clean. Range and sides must be completely cleaned on Sunday.
• Clean balls.
• Clean clubs (woods and irons).
• Sweep bag room out if necessary.
• Put carts away. Hose down carts and remove trash before charging.
• Take garbage out.
• Replenish clean towels, when needed.
