ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

1. Provides friendly and efficient customer service by demonstrating sincerity,

patience and respect in all customer interactions.

2. Throughout the store, greets customers in a genuine and friendly manner. Learns

customer names and uses them respectfully in greetings.

3. Assists customers throughout the store by:

· Escorting them to products they are looking for

· Loading or unloading heavy items and assisting with products that are out

of reach

· Offering product and/or recipe suggestions and recommendations

· Responding to customers’ questions and requests in a timely manner

· Treating them as the most important people in the store

4. Sincerely thanks customers for their business and choosing our store.

5. Demonstrates teamwork to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant working

and shopping environment.

6. Mixes dough

· Plans production and adjusts to meet plan target

· Ensures proper ingredients and consistencies (scales/measures)

· Cuts off manageable sections for production

7. Completes bench work

· Separates dough into units to go through divider

· Divides dough into appropriate units ensuring proper weights are achieved

· Feeds and removes dough from depositor

· Prepares dough for proofing and baking

· Fries dough as directed

8. Completes oven and fryer work

· Ensures proper oven and fryer space

· Monitors proper baking and frying time and temperature for product

· Hand loads oven/fryer or loads rack into oven/fryer

9. Completes next day preparations

· Pulls frozen product to be done early next morning

· Cuts donuts for next day proofing/frying

· Mixes and molds the dough needed for next day early morning bakeoff

10. Performs fryer duties

· Prepares batter

· Fries batter

· Finishes fried product

11. Assists in all other bakery areas

· Stocks and wraps

· Assists customers with questions and requests

· Decorates cakes

· Maintains clean and safe work areas

· Assists in training associates

Functional Requirements

Frequent: Physical - lifting/carrying 15 to 100 lbs., pushing/pulling 220 to

550 lbs., equipment operation (mixer, sheeter, molder,

divider,

rounder, cookie cutting machine, donut cutter, scraper,

scales, knives, oven, timer, racks, shrink wrapper,

telephone, decorating tube, bread slicer, fryer, labeler,

cleaning utensils, glazer, air brush, spatula, chemical

resistant gloves, splash goggles), stooping/bending,

walking on uneven ground, turning, standing, reaching,

kneeling, climbing ladders

Mental - judgment/decision making, math, memorization,

reading,

social skills/verbal interaction, writing

Environmental – working with hot equipment, working

with hot

grease, exposed to fatty acids and smoke, working close to

heated surfaces

Occasional: Physical – lifting/carrying 40 to 100 lbs., pushing/pulling up to

2500 lbs., equipment operation (pallet jack)

12. Follows all store and department policies and procedures

13. Ensures that proper inventory levels exist

· Communicates supply levels

· Checks invoices on product received

14. Assists in monitoring work flow and conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
