The Role
The incumbent is responsible for accurate taking of orders, fulfillment of orders and exhibiting above average guest relation skills when executing events.
Responsibilities

- Being knowledgeable of all menu items.
- Taking cocktail and food orders
- Accurately enter orders into the P.O.S. system
- Transferring food/cocktails to tray from hot and cold stations
- Serving guests in a timely fashion
- Providing attentive service at all times, removing soiled dishes after each course
- Offering dessert, coffee or after dinner drinks
- Maintaining cleanliness of all dining and service areas
- Helping restock all linen, china, silverware and glassware
- Restocking and refilling condiments, etc.
- Working with team to maintain high quality standards and deliver exceptional service consistently.
- Creating and maintaining a positive, energizing work environment.
- Maintaining a safe working conditions and ensuring safe work practices are followed to avoid accidents/injuries. Ensuring health and safety policies are adhered to at all times.
- Working with managers and other team members to support sales promotions.
- Maintaining a positive attitude toward work, colleagues and interface with guests in a congenial and polite manner.
- Being knowledgeable on the Company’s activities and various venues in order to recommend and/or upsell
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a strong passion for exemplary customer service both internal and external
- Must have a can-do attitude
- Serve Safe Certificate
- RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certificate
Education and/or Experience
- Requires a minimum of one (1) year Food & Beverage experience in an upscale restaurant or high end resort
- Must have working knowledge of Micros Point of Sale system or similar program
Physical Demands

Must possess:
- Strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium to heavy physical work over the course of an 8+ hour shift.
- Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen and to distinguish colors.
- Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
- Walk, climb and descend stairs and traverse over uneven surfaces frequently in operational areas to perform assigned tasks.
- Finger dexterity needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, calculator, and to operate tools and equipment.
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and inspect.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds or heavier weights with assistance and/or the use of proper equipment.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with guests and/or staff.
Environmental Elements
- Work in both indoor and outdoor environments with moderate to loud noise levels.
- May work in controlled temperature conditions, cold and hot temperatures, or inclement weather conditions.
- Work near moving equipment and mechanical parts.
- Exposure to chemicals, mechanical and electrical hazards, and hazardous physical substances and fumes.
- Interact with individuals in interpreting and enforcing rules, policies, and procedures.
Working Conditions
May be assigned an irregular work schedule, including weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays.
