Bar Crew Member | Alamo Drafthouse Springfield

POSITION SUMMARY
Alamo’s Bartender will have primary responsibility for being the master of the drinks, preparing and organizing beverage offerings. With a focus on safety and cleanliness standards, you’ll mix up some delicious batch cocktails, and organize single serve beer and wine.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain all safety standards
Maintain world class cleanliness standards for bar department areas, draft lines, coolers, prep tables, shelves, and other commonly touched areas
Is knowledgeable about Alamo policies and procedures
Participates in all safety related policies and procedures
Uphold communication standards with managers and crew
Prepares batch drinks, including liquor measuring and mixing
Stock and organize your area, prep any items needed for service, and complete beverage orders for our guests
Maintains high beverage safety standards
Supports Guest Attendants by traying beverages, stocking ice, etc.
Assists with other back of the house duties as required, including but not limited to dishwashing.
Participates in all safety related policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS
A really great attitude, and the ability to share that attitude with the guests and team working with you to achieve the best Alamo experience for All.
Be a movie lover, cinema goer, and have an understanding in the Alamo for All experience.
Previous experience in a beverage service or hospitality environment is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment.
Ability to stand/walk for 90% of the shift.
Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekend, and shifts from morning through late night.
Comfortable with wearing a cloth or face-covering at all times.
Ability to move with caution and operate in a dimly lit environment and sometimes loud environment.
Up to date alcohol certification with the applicable state agency
