ABOUT THIS POSITION

Our Cashiers and Baristas connect with, laugh with and uplift the lives of the customers we serve in a higher education environment. The work goes beyond running the register and handcrafting a perfectly made beverage; it’s about presenting the Genuine culture while providing great customer service.

  • Provide Genuine quality customer service with all clientele by greeting, thanking, etc.
  • Craft drinks to order with care and accuracy.
  • Ring out guests as needed at the cash register and follow cash handling procedures
  • Ensure food safety standards are being followed.
  • Prep / cook any food items as needed.
  • Provide great customer service following Genuine standards.
  • Maintain a clean working environment and help the team with any additional cleaning duties.
  • Restock areas as needed, following proper FIFO rotation.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be flexible & team-oriented!
  • 1 year of food or customer service experience/training in a mid-high volume food service facility or restaurant.
  • Willingness to learn the compliance requirements of the USDA National School Lunch Program.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and level headedness.
  • Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy.
  • Able to climb stairs and lift up 50 lbs.
  • Interest in and committed to Genuine Foods’ mission to use food to help students enhance their minds, bodies and happiness.
  • Must be able to work in a school environment.
