Haymaker Restaurant

Haymaker Restaurant, by Chef William Dissen, on Romare Bearden Park in Uptown Charlotte, is looking for a professional bartender to join our team.

We are a group of cooks, farmers, waiters, artisans, organizers, brewers, and dishwashers who share a common philosophy about how we eat and in a larger sense, about life. Located in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, Haymaker Restaurant focuses on being a community leader and bringing sustainable, ingredient-driven food and drink to the region in a casual, neighborhood setting.

We are looking for applicants with 3-5 years of minimum relevant experience in the industry, as well as a fundamental understanding of restaurants and work professionalism.

Full weekend availability is necessary to be considered for hire.

Haymaker is looking to hire those with a genuinely positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, and strong work ethic.
Interviews will be arranged by appointment.

Requirements:

- Professional and positive attitude
- Knowledge of Fast Pace Bartending, Mixology, and Cocktails
- Knowledge of Front of House, Serving, Fine Food and Wine
- Ability to inventory beverage
- Ability to open and close the bar
- Closing the restaurant at night by setting alarm and locking doors
- Oversee cleaning and organization of bar
- Sanitation and organization a must
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers
- Professional working environment
- Minimum 3-5 years experience
- Motivated candidates only need apply
- Micros experience a plus
