The Landmark at Merrick Park is seeking a Bartender, to assist with refreshing our bar program in these ever-changing times. The position is available for either part-time & full-time as we are flexible with scheduling. Please keep in mind we are a “weekend/evening/holiday” business and do have specific scheduling requirements, which we can discuss in more detail.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Assist with weekly ordering/receiving process

- New Item recommendations

- Assist with clearing old products and selecting new product lineup

- Recommendations on bartender/food runner scheduling

- Maintaining the bar space in a clean and organized state.

Interested individuals will have the following attributes:

- Is patient

- Is adaptable to constantly changing environments

- Brings a level of professionalism to their job, whatever it is

Interested individuals will have the following experience:

Demonstration of knowledge will be required

- 1-2 years of relevant bartending experience with classic drinks, general knowledge of beers & wines

- 1-2 years of F&B experience, ideally in a restaurant setting

- Exposure/experience with “mixology” is a plus but not required

- 1 year+ supervisory experience over a team of no less than three people (not necessarily in a bar setting)

- TIPs Certification is a plus

- ServSafe Manager Certification is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.50 per hour
