Here at Ferndale Project and Lincoln Tap, both sister companies of Eastern Market Brewing Company, we are looking for an evening Beertender with weekend availability to join our team!

About this role:

This role primarily reports to our Ferndale Project location and also has the ability to pick up shifts at our other locations in Eastern Market Brewing Co. and Lincoln Tap in Royal Oak.

This is a part-time position with afternoon/evening shifts available, 3-4 shifts per week, and must work at least one-weekend shift per week.

This is a tipped position, and we ensure everyone collects at least the equivalent of $16+/hour regardless of shift

In this position you can expect to:

• Creating a welcoming and enthusiastic customer experience by determining their beverage interests and needs
• Educating guests by presenting and explaining the beer and food menu
• Educates guests by presenting and explaining different flavors and styles of the taproom beer menu (We provide training!)
• Taking food orders through counter service, and expo'ing food as needed
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers
• Managing point of sale and additional operational needs
• Continually improving personal knowledge around coffee and craft beer
• Completing closing checklists with a focus on customer experience and cleanliness

• Have a passion for creating memorable customer experiences
• Have an excitement to learn about craft beer preferred
• 1 year of experience in-person customer service required
• Availability to work part-time (3-4 shifts per week) on weekdays, including at least 1 weekend shift
• Availability to work closing taproom shifts ending approx. 11 pm on weekdays, and midnight on weekends
• Must be 21+
