SUMMARY
Location: Island Hospitality Management Corporate Office
Position Type: Non-Management
The starting pay rate for this position is $50,000.00 annually.
As a Benefits Coordinator at Island Hospitality Management, you will be responsible for performing Human Resources benefits-related duties and assisting with the administration of retirement, health, and welfare benefit programs, compensation, and wellness programs.
Job Requirements:
- Provide excellent customer service and assist team members, managers, and business partners regarding benefit and well-being programs
- Monitor eligibility of plan enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Responsible for reviewing and maintaining data files for all benefit programs
- Assist with annual open enrollment
- Responsible for all benefits billing and reconciliation. Identifies any potential issues and opportunities for process improvement and partners with HR and Finance team to bring to a resolution
- Assist in monitoring and partnering with Payroll regarding all team member collections and refunds related to benefit enrollments
- Assist in data collection and distribution of documents pertaining to benefits and compliance-related matters
- Support the administration of organizational wellness programs intended to improve employee health and well-being
Job Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
- Strong customer service and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must encourage and foster cooperation and teamwork
- May be required to travel up to 5%
