We're hiring a Benefits Supervisor!
About this position
The Benefits Supervisor helps design, implement, and manage US and international benefits plans. In addition, this hands-on position oversees the company's international benefits programs, including health and retirement programs, to ensure that programs are globally competitive and compliant with the local countries' regulations. This position also partners closely with the HR wellness and recognition team on programs to implement globally successfully.

What you'll do
- With the broker and Plexus management, you lead the design, development, and launch of cutting-edge and current global benefit programs and their delivery.
- You develop business cases to support new programs or strategies, emphasizing team member engagement, budget impact, and related return on investment (ROI).
- You administer benefits programs including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage, health savings accounts (HSA), flexible spending accounts (FSA), retirement plans, COBRA, and leave of absence programs.
- You manage the open enrollment process and partner with brokers, carriers, and the HR/Benefits Team to present timely, correct, and easy-to-understand information.
- You Help build and test the benefits portal with an eye on accuracy, ease of use, and automation.
- You lead benefit alignment efforts across international locations while ensuring we are competitive in each specific country; research, recommends, and coordinates the benefits setup requirements and offerings for current and emerging countries.
- You help create and deliver benefits communication plans and policies; develop communication materials, strategies, and project plans to enhance team members' understanding of benefits offerings.
- You act as the in-house benefits expert for all uses, including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, PTO, PVT, FMLA, short- and long-term disability, Plexus Lexus, tuition reimbursement, and more.
- You handle escalated team member benefits issues and partner with brokers, carriers, and Health advocates as needed.
- You possess working knowledge of HIPAA, maintain confidence, and build trust throughout the organization.
- You seek efficiencies in benefits administration. With Manager, Global HRIS ensures all file feeds are correctly set up to minimize coverage issues and maximize team member experience.
- Develops, presents, and implements consistent, documented operating procedures.
- Oversees all billing and reconciliation; ensures accuracy.
- Supervises the preparation of reports and applications, as required by law, to be filed with federal, state, and other regulatory agencies.
- Partners with HR and team members to develop, coordinate, and implement company-wide well-being campaigns, programs, and activities to promote healthy workplace behaviors and to help attract and retain talent. Acts as Wellness Champion for the organization.
- Conducts and analyzes benefits surveys and makes recommendations for changes to ensure that our benefits are competitive against our peer group and the market.
- You assist with vendor relationships and contracts and evaluate and select new vendors.
- Keeps current on benefits trends; shares information and knowledge with the benefits and HR teams.
You should have
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's Degree is preferred.
- You have 5+ experience in benefits administration or human resources with a benefits focus and two years leading a team.
- You have a Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in international or global benefits.
- You have basic knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations as they apply to employment practices and benefits programs
- You have experience with designing and administering scalable global benefits programs.
- You maintain the highest level of confidentiality of team members and organizational information
- You have excellent time management and organizational skills;
- Your proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively communicate the benefits program.
- You collaborate with others and thrive in a team environment while meeting individual goals and expectations.
- Preferred Certifications: Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) certification is preferred. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
