Position Title: Bilingual Training Coordinator Early Childhood

Location: South Suburban Cook

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S Early Childhood Development preferred or related field.
• Must be proficient in speaking and writing Spanish
• Must be very organized and be able to handle detailed work and meet deadlines
• Computer proficient Office 365 program: word, excel, teams, access, publisher, and power point and Zoom Conferencing platform
• Availability of flexible hour schedule requiring some evening and Saturday hours.
• Ability to build relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
• Must have own transportation to travel as needed.
• Knowledge of DCFS licensing standards for childcare home and centers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have ability to lead team and work closely with director.
• Must become a member of Illinois Gateways to Opportunity

Position Summary: This position will support the childcare training program to aid in meeting state deliverables through partnership with Illinois Action for Children. The Bilingual Training Coordinator organizes tasks related to Spanish training activities in the service area. The BilingualTraining Coordinator is also responsible to ensure data tracking in the web-based tracking program is completed. Will lead providers with a strong, responsive, communication style and enthusiastic spirit. In addition, the BilingualTraining Coordinator is responsible to evaluate the community for Spainish training needs and explore current trends in childcare. Bilingual Training Coordinator has a knowledge base that can help and guide clients in their professional growth. Ability to work in a highly effective team environment.

Salary begins at 42,500 with sign-on bonus
