Responsibilities

• Ensuring proper entry of date into the billing system (Insurance data, bill type, coding)
• Bill generation
• Sending bills to insurer via mail or electronically
• Managing Bluecross and Medicare claims
• Utilizing Bluecross VDT
• Credit Balance Management and initiation of refunds as needed
• File Purging
• Other Duties as assigned
• Facility billing knowledge is a plus!
