Pregnancy Care Center of Petoskey is a non-profit in Petoskey, MI. We are a non-political, non-denominational, and locally-funded organization formed to help all persons regarding pregnancy and to understand and work through the options regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting. Our goal is to provide education, counsel, and aid to those involved and to encourage the pregnant woman to choose a healthful and positive life option in regard to her own and her baby’s future. This position is for a self-motivated, dynamic and detail-oriented individual to be responsible for assisting senior management with administrative and operational duties in the office. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational, multi-tasking and communication skills and an ability to respond to a wide range of requests from multiple people and departments.
Responsibilities:
- Track expenses, budget, taxes, cash flow, receipts and other financial dealings.
- Provide regular financial reports (weekly, monthly and yearly).
- Ensure timely processing of payroll.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Manage office budget and expenditures.
- Manage office supplies.
- Answer and direct incoming calls.
- Confer with the office manager regarding administrative and operational matters.
- Perform clerical tasks on a daily basis as needed.
The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable dealing with financial data. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll and conducting other tasks related to finance. They should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to produce clear financial reports.
Qualifications Preferred
Associate's degree in accounting or related field
3+ years of experience in related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, QuickBooks Online, Google Suite, Mac and Windows
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Must-have qualifications
- Quickbooks or related system experience.
- Ability to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations?
- Willing and able to respect donor confidentiality, and uphold client privacy per HIPPA regulations
- Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and is in regular fellowship with a local body of believers
- Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, and policies of the Center
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
