Office/Accounting Assistant

Mountain Manufacturing is a growing Medical Device component manufacturing company located in Lino Lakes, MN. Due to our growth, we are looking to add an Office/Accounting Assistant to our team. COME GROW WITH US!

Work schedule: 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday - Friday

POSITION SUMMARY:

Handle a variety of bookkeeping and administrative tasks and assist in the continued growth of the company. Among these responsibilities are accurate and timely invoicing of customers, payment submission to suppliers, and their respective internal bookkeeping activities. This person must demonstrate outstanding interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, customer service, and multi-tasking abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare Bank and Credit Card Statement Reconciliations and maintain records.
  • Collect receivables promptly and make bank deposits.
  • Under the guidance of the Controller, prepare general ledger postings, and financial statements.
  • Manage e-mails from customers/suppliers.
  • Assist with phone calls.
  • Operate and maintain the company's computer accounting system (QuickBooks) while assisting with transitioning to using JobBOSS (MRP system) full-time for all financial reporting.
  • Close out Manufacturing History Records after final payments have been made.
  • Other office/admin duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • QuickBooks experience - nice to have.
  • JobBOSS MRP Experience a plus!
  • Two or more years of experience with accounting/bookkeeping.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel, and MRP software.
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • High level of stability and reliability.
  • Ability to receive and follow specific instructions and procedures given by multiple individuals.
  • Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Must be able to maintain confidential records and information.
  • Ability to work with MS Office (e.g., Excel), MRP/ERP databases, and accounting software.
  • Experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
