WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • To join our energetic and passionate team as an Assistant Studio Manager, you’ll need a competitive spirit, a passion for selling and a strong track record in customer service. We want a candidate with high expectations for themselves, hungry to deliver on an exceptional customer experience.
  • You will support the Owner and General Manager to oversee studio sales and operations.

THE SKILLS YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 2+ years of retail sales or customer service experience required; fitness sales experience preferred
  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and organized
  • Must be high energy, personable, positive, coachable, detail-oriented, a self-starter with ability and desire to meet monthly sales targets
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, text communication and via email
  • Proficient with computers, studio management software, Microsoft Office products, and social media;
  • Confident in generating sales and training sales associates in effective sales techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

HERE'S HOW YOU'LL BE DOING IT:

  • The Assistant Manager regularly works front desk shifts at high traffic times (includes some evenings and weekend shifts) at the studio to deliver the optimal customer service experience, drive sales and ensure studio cleanliness.
  • Build relationships and understand a prospect’s fitness goals, and present available services to help them achieve goals.
  • Greet all members, guests and team members with the highest level of customer service.
  • Assist members with in-person and phone inquiries regarding membership policies.
  • Support the General Manager with studio billing matters; manage member freezes; resolve customer service issues as they arise.
  • Partner with General Manager to find, schedule, and attend events to increase brand presence and generate leads.
  • Manage and maintain our social media presence. This includes daily posts, responding the messages and comments, reaching out/finding new followers.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales and net revenue goals.
  • Sell retail merchandise.
  • Work closely with the Owner & General Manager to train, coach and manage the team of sales associates.

Guide Studio Operations & Retail Processes

  • The Assistant Manager maintains a clean and safe studio during shifts by assisting with cleaning tasks
  • Follow all procedures established to operate the studio in accordance with government health directives and guidelines.
  • Participate in studio meetings and trainings as needed.
  • Maintain accurate data in all appropriate systems for reporting and statistical purposes.
  • Report any studio issues per Company policy.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
  • May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car. This job requires the person to climb up and down flights of stairs as elevators are not present at all locations. May be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
  • This position will be encouraged to take all of the classes offered in the studio. This is important for when team members are recommending classes to members and prospects so each person is set-up for a successful and positive class experience that meets their needs.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus
  • Must be able to effectively hear in person and via telephone
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States

COMPENSATION & PERKS:

  • This is a part time position. Employee is expected to work 25-30 hours per week and may occasionally need to work additional hours.
