The Embassy Suites by Hilton Cincinnati Blue Ash is located in the heart of Blue Ash and is just a short drive to Downtown Cincinnati, Great American Ballpark, Washington Park and Findlay Market! The hotel boasts 238 guest rooms and has just under 9,000 sq. ft. of event space across 7 meeting rooms!
Job OverviewSet up, break down and clean breakfast bar and assist food servers with table service to ensure total guest satisfaction. Responsibilities And Duties

• Set up breakfast bar, prior to serving time, in quality manner; fine presentation and appearance being a priority.

• Arranges daily breakfast items and condiments in an appealing manner.

• Cleans tables and clears away food items and trash.

• Replenishes bar as necessary.

• Uses proven productivity methods to prevent wastage and spoilage of food.

• Keeps all work areas clean and sanitized.

• Orders food products as necessary.

• Communicates in a timely manner with the kitchen staff regarding the amount of food on hand and its quality.

• Returns unserved food to the kitchen for proper storage and cleans serving stations.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Ability to lift and carry up to lbs.

• Basic mathematical skills necessary to order food items.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

• Ability to set-up physical presentations to best compliment color, texture, and design.

• Good working knowledge of acceptable standards of sanitation.

• Requires walking or standing to a significant degree; reaching, handling, fingering, feeling, talking, hearing.

Qualifications

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school.

• Any applicable governmental licenses such as food sanitation certifications.

• Additional language ability preferred
