Savills Building Manager
This role will report to the Centre Management Team and have responsibility for the operation of the Campus buildings working 39 hours per week.The primary function is to ensure for the efficient cleaning, maintenance, safety and security of the property and the ground always.Generally, maintain constant awareness of the importance of the clients’ corporate image and the role of on-site management and presentation in achieving that objective.
Job Description
- Responsible for the smooth operation of the Reception/Security within the complex.
- Oversee and assist with any security issues on Campus, the car parks, and the tenants and public, and review, test and organise procedures for safety, fire and evacuation.
- Supervise and co-ordinate third party contractors attending site and inspect works after.
- Maintain visitors/contractors log and report any incidents.
- Carry out emergency procedures in the even of a fire, flood, and break in, accident etc.
- Liaise with occupiers/tenants to establish constructive and positive relationships.
- Keep the Centre Management Team informed of developments with respect to operations under their control.
- Comply with relevant Health & Safety requirements and be familiar with and ensure that fire, health, and safety regulations are adhered to in all parts of the building and car park by inspection, check signage and advising on defects.
- Ensure the fabric and finish of the overall site is properly maintained and in good condition.
- Inspect all common areas for any leaks etc and arrange for remedial repairs.
- Preparation and review of contractor RAMS
Candidate requirements
- Good communication and ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the range of common plant and equipment used on site
- Able to effectively supervise contractors, tenants, and members of the public
- Able to maintain detailed on-site records and report to the PM in a clear concise manner.
- Have a good mechanical/electrical knowledge and background.
