As a Business Banking Loan Coordinator aka Client Services Coordinator in the Business Banking Department, your day will be filled with opportunities to manage clients daily while assisting the Loan Officer. Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage all Exception Reports (Financial, Documentation, Past Dues, etc) by notifying clients and /or vendors of needed documentation
  • Prepare Loan Approval Summaries and Commitment Letters for all New and Maturing Loans
  • Order title Work, Appraisals, Flood Certifications, Credit Reports, OFAC, UCC Searches, Certificates of Good Standing and/or any other supporting documentation needed from an outside service provider
  • Work closely with SYB Documentation Areas and/or Approved Attorneys to ensure all documents are accurate and ready for closing
  • Close loans and/or execute documents when the Loan Officer is unavailable
  • Fund all loans according to documentation within the Loan package
  • Put all signed and other required documents in standard checklist format prior to sending to Loan Servicing
  • Send packages to Loan Servicing, in a timely manner
  • Process loan payments and draw requests per Client and Loan Officer acknowledgment and approval in a timely manner
  • Open new Commercial Deposit Accounts as needed
  • Be familiar with Bank Products
  • Work closely with Commercial Documentation, Loan Servicing, Document Retention and the CIS Departments
  • Handle all written correspondence with clients and outside vendors for Loan Officers
  • Answer phones and greet clients
  • Manage customer relations
  • Be able to make decisions within limits set by the Commercial Lending Department

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • BS or BA in business related field preferred
  • 1 year of experience in related field or professional work experience in financial services industry
  • Basic financial knowledge of banking
  • Strong typing skills
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer proficient
  • Microsoft Excel and Word proficient
