Job description
We are hiring a Business Development Associate for the Adjuvant.Health’s Business Development team. Adjuvant.Health, one of the largest private medical partnerships in New York, offers a wide range of medical solutions and medical administrative services that allows a medical practice more time to focus on patients.
The position will report to the SVP of Business Development, the Associate’s main responsibility is the assessment of M&A targets. This includes doing historical financial workups, financial modeling of revenue and expenses, creating investment thesis, and recommending deal structures and valuations. The Associate will be responsible for a portfolio of transactions as designated by leadership.

Position Respo nsibilit ies
- Conduct business due diligence on medical practices, inclusive of detailed revenue (CPT) analysis, Quality of Earnings, Operational Diligence, and legal diligence
- Prepare financial models for potential investments, develop proforma models, create investment summaries, and formulating valuations/deal structures
- Lead all aspects of business due diligence
- Own the creation of the investment thesis and present findings and recommendations to leadership
- Assist with the management of 3rd party advisors including business consultants, lawyers, accountants, and tax advisors
- Aid in the structing, drafting, and negotiating terms of transactional documents
- Assist in the development and management of physician compensation models.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and project management skills
- Collaborative team player that is excited by the idea of contributing to a rapidly growing, PE backed healthcare company looking to close deals in the New York area
- 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, corporate development, and/or transaction advisory services
- Healthcare provider practice experience, preferred
- Experience reading and interpreting Tax returns, W2, K1’s, 3 Statement financials
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Masters in Business Administration (MBA), highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, required
- Prolonged periods of time sitting in front of a computer
- Frequent Telephone/Video Conference use
