Job Title: Call Center Nurse (Hybrid)

Description:
The Call Center Nurse will provide professional nursing screenings and/or nursing assessments, prioritize treatments according to the urgency of need, and initiate medical care to patients calling the Call Center based upon protocols established and reviewed by the Clinical Administration.
Essential Job Functions
- Interviews patient and/or family to obtain medical histories and to make an accurate assessment
- Assigns a triage priority based on observations and available information
- Initiates diagnostic and therapeutic measures as indicated by standing protocols · Contacts the patient’s primary care home for crisis intervention if appropriate
- Communicates and acts as liaison with patients, family, and health professionals in a manner that respects confidentiality and dignity
- Charts/documents concisely and descriptively on patient progress
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with an Associate’s degree, preferred
- Current state license as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse in the state of South Carolina
- Minimum of one year of experience in family medicine (preferred), internal medicine, or pediatrics.
- Internet connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) is required.
Equipment will be provided.
