Job Description
"Job Title: Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse - Grand Forks, North Dakota
Berwick Health is seeking an experienced RN with Cardiovascular experience to join our team on a contract basis. This position requires 40 hours per week, with on-call coverage every 4th weekend and once a week. As a Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, assessing patient needs, and developing care plans based on those needs.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily rounds on all patients, ensuring quality customer service
Develop care plans based on patient assessments
Assess patient conditions and nursing needs, and prescribe appropriate nursing actions
Identify early warning signs of a change in a patient's condition and respond appropriately
Maintain accurate records and submit incident reports
Establish and maintain communication with patients and other significant individuals
Begin discharge planning and appropriate education and counseling as early as possible
Assign or delegate nursing interventions as needed
Follow infection control policies and procedures
Requirements:
RN experience on the heart team REQUIRED
Current RN license in North Dakota or Compact State Agreement
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association
Proficient in OASIS
Reliable transportation
