MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in advising (preferably higher education advising), success coaching, or related field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Career and CTE Success Coach will report to the Director of Admissions and Advising. The Career and CTE Success Coach is responsible for providing coaching and intervention techniques to an assigned case load of Career and Technical students. The Success Coach will ensure student access to programs, services and resources and will monitor students' progress using the college's retention and advising software. The Coach will also focus on aligning students' career goals and educational abilities with appropriate CTE pathways, will identify at-risk students, and will respond to faculty alerts related to any CTE student. Additional responsibilities include empowering advisees to effectively communicate with faculty and student services and to develop self-advocacy skills; connecting advisees to resources and support services such as financial aid, career services, and disability services; regularly attending assigned divisional meetings; and remaining current with divisional and college policies and procedures.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with good judgment in decision-making.

SALARY:
$20.00/hour, 25 hours/week
