Occupational Summary
Assist Director of Career Services with operation/project management, data/reporting, budget/finance, communications/marketing, technology/platforms/vendors, and event planning/implementation. This is a part time 25 hours/week position with at least one day a week (Wednesday) in person presence on the main Duke campus, and the rest of the hours performed between regular office hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
Work requires analytical, communications and organizational skills generally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree program.
Experience
Work requires one year of experience in program administration or involving academic, instructional or counseling activities to acquire skills necessary to plan, coordinate and implement a variety of program activities and events.
DEPARTMENT PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE
Education/Training
Work requires organizational, communications and management skills generally acquired through completion of an associate or a bachelor’s degree.
Three years minimum of operations/project management experience OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATON AND/OR EXPERIENCE
In addition, the successful candidate will possess the following qualities/attributes:
- Strong operations and project management skills.
- Proven experience with data/reporting.
- Understanding of and experience with budget/finance.
- Comprehensive communications/marketing skills.
- Strong understanding of and experience with higher education technology/platforms/vendors.
- Demonstrated experience with event planning/implementation.
- Proven ability to work independently while functioning as a team member.
- Strong ability with time management, event organization, and managing multiple projects and details.
- Cross-cultural communications skills and sensitivity.
- Customer service orientation.
