Applications are invited for an appointment as Career Development Adviser at University of Galway.

The successful candidate will work with students and recent graduates of University of Galway, primarily but not exclusively, in the Colleges of Arts, Social Science & Celtic Studies, Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, delivering professional and effective careers education, information, advice and guidance. The primary focus of this role will to be to contribute to the employability of students through the development of a range of modules and workshops linked with work based learning and integrated with graduate attributes. The holder will also work closely with University staff and employers. The holder will also co-ordinate other Career Development Centre (CDC) projects and contributes significantly to employability initiatives.

Salary:
€46,211 to €59,715 p.a (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011)
(This appointment will be made on the Grade 4 scale in line with current Government pay policy)
