Caregiver Job Summary

You’ll be responsible for helping other people complete their daily activities. You may work in hospitals, nursing homes, private residences, or adult daycare centers. Each caregiver must be empathetic and attentive to the needs of those we serve.

Caregiver Duties and Responsibilities

• Cooking, dressing, bathing, and assisting others in using the restroom

• Picking up heavy objects and performing housekeeping tasks

• Working with a variety of clients such as the physically disabled, cognitively impaired, chronically ill, and elderly

• Reaching plates on high shelves or doing any activity that may challenge an individual for any reason

• Must provide 24-hour care

• No staff is to leave ANY resident unattended; if resident is left unattended, the act will be reported as neglect

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• On call
• Overnight shift
• Weekend availability
• Weekends only

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Signing bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sun Prairie, WI 53590: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• CBRF (Preferred)
• Driver's License (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
