Job Description:

Uchange Home Care Services is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced caregiver/personal assistant/companion to join our team. As a caregiver/personal assistant/companion, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to seniors, people with disabilities, or those recovering from illness or injury in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

• Administer medications and follow treatment plans as directed by healthcare professionals

• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary

• Accompany clients to medical appointments, errands, and social activities

• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients

• Monitor and report changes in clients' physical and mental health to healthcare professionals and family members

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum of 1-year experience in caregiving, personal assistance or companionship

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

In addition to the qualifications listed above, candidates must be able to provide proof of a negative TB test or a chest x-ray that is less than 1 year old. This is a requirement for all caregivers to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.
