Cargo Revenue Clerk

The Cargo Revenue Clerk will provide both billing support to the Company as well as providing ongoing support to the Cargo Revenue Supervisor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The following responsibilities are associated with this job role:

• Create comprehensive, accurate and timely invoices for customers using the relevant invoicing systems
• Review, check and amend data to ensure accuracy of invoicing
• Gain an understanding of the operation to reflect this into the checking levels prior to invoicing
• Develop effective working relationships with Swissport departments including Commercial, Credit Control, Head Office Finance, Accounts Payable, etc.
• Review revenue during the invoicing process and following weekly, monthly or station analysis to identify variances and resolve.
• Process all invoice runs following strict procedures and meet tight deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

• Minimum of 4 GCSE's grade A-C including English and Maths (or equivalent). Qualified or part qualified AAT desired
• In-depth knowledge of billing principals, concepts, and understanding billing processes and reporting
• Ideally minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent oral and written communications;
• Strong organisational skills
• Computer literate (Outlook, Excel, Word). Knowledge of SAP an advantage.
• Ability to follow procedures to undertake the role
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure to achieve strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of the cargo business desirable.
