The role of the Catering Assistant is to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and will support the day to day operations of catering within a patient care facility.
The Catering assistant will demonstrate:
- Knowledge of the service.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety as it relates to the role.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Planning & organisational skills.
- Resident/Resident focus
- HACCP
- CPR & Patient Manual Handling
- 2 written references
- Ability to work independently or part of a team
- Have an empathetic and caring nature
- Full vaccination record
- Must have (or be willing to complete) training as required
- Must have eligibility to work in Ireland
- Be willing to undertake Garda Vetting
