We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Deli Supervisor, to oversee the day to day operation of the Canteen in Mary Immaculate College in Thurles. This is a Monday to Friday Job.

Job Description

• Ordering supplies, staff rostering, training.
• Opening and closing premises.
• Serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, along with pastries, snacks and cookies.
• Food preparation and service
• Builds relationships with customers both new & repeat.
• Cash handling & management.
• Informing customers by presenting and explaining the menu and responding to any customer questions.
• Generating revenues by attracting new customers; defining new and expanded services and products.
• Managing inventories by monitoring supplies and daily ordering
• Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; arranging repairs.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
• Improving quality by maintaining and improving the appearance of the canteen.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Salary: €10.59-€14.94 per hour
