Stefanini Group is looking for (Part-Time) CDL A Driver in Greensboro, NC.

This is open for W2 candidates.

This is the perfect job for someone who is looking to pick up a few extra hours, has a flexible schedule, and is retired or someone who wants to work part-time.

• You will be driving state-of-the-art test vehicle, possibly with test engineers to evaluate features/functions and collect data.
• Support testing activities by performing on road evaluations of new features/functions being developed.
• Drive routes on our endurance test track by running cycles on the events specified by the testing requirements.
• Transport vehicles to remote locations in support of testing activities.
• Drive specified routes or for a specific time to accumulate mileage. (Mileage accumulation on test vehicles.)
• There are 2 shifts of operation (5p-1am, and 1am-9am),
• They do not swap shifts and someone who is assigned a shift will stick with it unless there is a need but that is rare.
• Drivers will stay local 99.5% of the time and usually only travel within a 100-150 mile radius.
• If you have a 'P' endorsement (which covers buses / bus drivers) that would be great as well

Best candidates for this role are those that are retired CDL A Truck Drivers that want to pick up some work, since the work is not steady and fluctuates.

• Minimum of 5 years" experience, operating a commercial motor vehicle
• Valid Class A CDL required, P endorsement not required, but would be favorable
• Valid medical card
• Must be able to use ELD devices in all vehicles for hours of service tracking
• Must be able to correctly perform a pre and post trip inspection of truck and trailer
• Must successfully pass a road certification driving test
• Must have a clear 10 year background check for driving record and drug/alcohol testing
• Required paperwork must be completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Must be able to follow instructions and provide good feedback
• There are 2 shifts of operation (5p-1am, and 1am-9am)
