What is PACE North? PACE stands for Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly. We are new and unique option for individuals 55 and older who qualify for nursing facility level of care and wish to remain in their homes as they age. What does that mean? We care for the elderly in both our state-of-the-art day center on Garfield near Hammond during regular business hours and in their home. Never heard of us before? That’s okay, we’re new to the region. We began serving the elderly in 2019 and our service model is so popular it’s growing quickly!

Do we have benefits? Yes! Our full-time team members enjoy; regular daytime work schedules, additional pay between $2.00 and $5.00 per hour for work after 5:00p during the week and on weekends, $1,500 sign-on bonus, plentiful PTO and paid holidays, and great insurance benefits available immediately upon hire. Dental coverage is 100% paid for, for our employees and their dependents! We also have a great team of professionals who are a joy to work with!

What does a CNA at PACE North do? You can expect to perform ADL and IADL care at both our day center and in our participant’s homes. As you know, it’s critical to correctly execute the care plan! You’re an active participant in our quality system and its regular evaluation and improvement. You’ll also drive to participant homes to help with this care, along with accompanying participants to various appointments. Our mileage reimbursement ensures our CNAs are taken care of. On top of that, if you drive over 150 miles during a pay period, you will receive an extra $100.00 on your paycheck!! What qualifications should you bring to the table? We’re looking for that special person who loves serving others with a positive approach. We’d appreciate at least 6 months’ experience in a clinical and/or elderly patient setting but could train the right person. You’ll need all the appropriate valid certifications, including CNA and CPR, but if you don’t yet have them, we can help with on-the-job training. You also should be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have the required immunization up to date before engaging in direct contact with participants.
