Fair Oaks Health Care Center is currently looking for a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our Occupational Therapists with daily tasks and treatment of patients. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implementing treatment plans and helping patients perform therapeutic activities
• Instructing patients and their families in the skills and techniques of their treatment
• Documenting patient's progress, attitudes and behavior
• Maintaining accurate patient treatment records
• Maintaining the work area and equipment
• Attending meetings to review treatments and patient progress
• Participating in continuing education classes and staff training

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be graduate from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
• Current Illinois Certificate
• Compassionate with excellent interpersonal skills
• Good working knowledge of occupational therapy practices and procedures
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
