Chain Account Manager (Remote in GA/NC/SC or FL)

JOB SUMMARY
STATUS: Full Time
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand the Walmart and Target accounts in all areas and know how to sell based on their internal culture
- Communication and tracking of all programming to wholesalers and internal sales and marketing; including pricing, distribution, OOS, INBI, features and shelf space
- Identify and drive distribution opportunities (Core Assortment / Channel Strategy) for the largest retailer in the world
- Establish credibility and a working relationship with our internal field sales positions as well as FIFCO USA wholesalers
- Establish and maintain an effective call point schedule based on priority accounts and key wholesalers for the regions
- Attend key wholesaler business planning meetings and CPPMs as it pertains to chain business
- Initiate relationships and schedule meetings with key Walmart and Target decision makers both in the field and their HQ
- Coordinate with Retail Link Analyst in all areas of analysis (pricing, distribution, OOS, INBI, features and shelf space)
- Must be able to communicate effectively through e-mail (both internally and externally), region calls, wholesaler and buyer presentations, etc.
- Must be persistent and carry a constant sense of urgency when dealing with Walmart and Target decision makers and their share of mind for FIFCO USA
- Must be flexible and able to address high profile, complicated retailer requests with extremely tight deadlines
- Budget management
- Weekly face-to-face interactions with key distributors in their markets
- Monthly to quarterly face-to-face meetings with Walmart/Target key decision makers (Market Managers, Region Managers, etc.)
- Regular drive time and air travel throughout the assigned territory
- Manage pricing along with the Market Managers
- Understand market trends and how it affects our business
- Must have a working knowledge of all available resources (iDIG, VIP SRS, IRI, BI, etc.)

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Alcoholic beverage industry experience preferred; chain selling exp a plus
- Microsoft Office
