As a Structural Engineer you will be joining a multidisciplinary in Dublin that has developed a great reputation for its projects and team. Made up of CSA, M&E and an architecture team, you will be situated as a key person in the roll out of projects working collaboratively on life science and industrial projects based here in Ireland and internationally. Specifically, you will be situated in the structural team working alongside a team of experienced engineers.

Your New Role

As a Structural Engineer you will be leading design briefs with clients, this is a client facing role so you should be confident in your technical ability, going out on site, conducting technical inspections and creating reports. You should be comfortable creating a design specification of a building from a customer brief, be regularly updating your knowledge on building codes and regulations.You will also be developing cost estimates and tender documentation. Overall this is a full structural engineering role, from creating designs in the office (or at home), to conducting meetings on site. Vast majority of projects are in the industrial/life science space which can be based in Ireland or overseas.

Job Requirements

For this role you should have achieved your chartered status or working towards it, with a minimum of 4-5 years structural design experience. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of creating quality designs in the industrial space using current Eurocodes. Educational background should be in a civil/structural engineering discipline. You should be up to date on all current software and analysis software for structural builds.
