ECS Recruitment are currently looking to hire 2 Chef De Partie for a client based in Donegal.

The successful candidates will be working in the hotel in Donegal to run its busy kitchen operation.

Main Responsibilities:

• To ensure the smooth running of the kitchen daily.
• To have excellent timekeeping, and to be totally aware of the responsibility for opening the kitchen each morning.
• To be capable of excellent customer service interaction.
• To consistently monitor waste and recommend any counter waste measures available to breakfast service.
• To possess a keen eye for the presentation of buffets and plated dishes.
• To consistently work and prepare food to the highest standards.
• To be capable of developing excellent working relationships outside of the direct kitchen team.

Duties:

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
• Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Donegal, County Donegal: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Chef: 2 years (required)
