Join us as our new Chemical Operator
As a Chemical Operator, you will function as a key team member by operating processing equipment, wherever assigned, according to approved operations procedures for the production of industrial enzymes.
Performance must include good manufacturing practices, safety, and compliance with all company rules and procedures. You will also record information for departmental databases, maintain compliance with pertinent permit operating conditions, and initiate revisions of relevant standard operating procedures as needed.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

• This is a hands-on-role where we operate equipment sometimes manually and sometime with the help of computers. Most of the equipment is specific to our industry so we provide lots of training and support. Also, every task has a written procedure with steps that are checked off as you go.
• Move - this isn’t a job where you sit all day. In fact, we have some specific physical requirements to do the job. For example, you need to be able to:Lift 60 pounds (a large bag of dog food)

Pull 20 pounds (a weighted blanket)

• Communicate – because we work together and rely on each other we have frequent meetings to make sure everyone is updated and planning for the upcoming day.
• Swing Shift work 12 hours days nights, weekends, and holiday with opportunities for overtime.

Potentially relevant experience:
Calculate basic math and science problems - a HS diploma or equivalent is required.
